Eugenia Kuzmina is fast becoming creative forces to be reckoned with. Armed with an impressive strings of major movie credit such as DIRTY GRANDPA, FADING GIGOLO, ROCK THE CASBAH, and the just-released BAD MOMS, Eugenia maintain her upward trajectory in movie stardom with three upcoming major studio movie projects and weekly stand up comedy stint at the LA's fame Comedy Store. Our creative director tracked Eugenia down (seen here with her pal Kira, the brunette) during the current New York Fashion Week to get some revealing tidbits about herself.
Eugenia, how did you get into stand up comedy?
Eugenia: It's a way for me to expand my acting chop and grow as an artist. When I was working on FADING GIGOLO, I watched Woody Allen work and that inspired me tremendously. He told me to consider stand up comedy to experience performing live. I was hooked ever since. Doing comedy taught me to be truthful to who I am and it's better than therapy.
Do you prefer working in movies made for Cinemas or for TVs?
Eugenia: Coming from modeling, I relate more to movies in cinema because it is a more visual driven medium than TV, which is narrative driven.
What do you have coming up, Eugenia?
Eugenia: I just wrapped TOUR DE PHARMACY with Andy Samberg and Orlando Bloom. It's a comedy. I am also in LADY DYNAMITE that is currently streaming on Netflix.
Anything in mid-production right now?
Eugenia: I am in the middle of shooting this movie called TRICK about the underground life in Vegas. Thats a working title, by the way. Me and Kira (the brunette in picture) are teaming up in producing a unique reality show that might come on your tv next year.
